How the math works

For each line: width x height = square feet. Square feet x your price per square foot = line price. Then we add extra charges, subtract the discount from the subtotal, add tax on what is left, and show the deposit as a share of the total. That is all there is to it, so you can check any number by hand.

What this tool does not do

It does not save proposals, send them to customers or collect e-signatures.
It uses US dollars and a single flat tax rate. Check what your state taxes on installed work.
It prices by area. Jobs priced by linear foot, by piece or by hours need a different setup.
